Since opening in 2013 we have provided room hire to a variety of practitioners, from psychotherapists and psychologists to nutritionists and holistic therapists. We are always excited to welcome new professionals to our practice.
Silver Street Clinic has five therapy rooms available to hire on a regular or ad-hoc basis. All rooms are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. The clinic is open daily between 08:00-21:00.
All practitioners are required to provide evidence of their qualifications, professional memberships, public liability and professional indemnity insurance and an enhanced DBS certificate (if required we can assist practitioners in the application process for enhanced DBS).
The practice is primarily equipped for talking therapies with individuals, couples or small groups but does have the potential to be used by any practitioner who requires a quiet, comfortable working location.

Central Location
The Clinic is situated on Maldon High Street, with parking facilities just across the road and many cafes and coffee shops close by. The clinic has beautiful views of the historical town of Maldon, including All Saints Church and down to the riverscape of the Blackwater Estuary.
Approx 10 minutes from A12, and 15 minutes to the nearest Train Station.
Flexible Bookings
We offer a very flexible, no-commitment, online booking system with no minimum or maximum number of bookings per calendar month.
We do operate a 24-hour cancellation policy, and we also encourage therapists to implement this with their clients.
Facilities
Once you receive your key to the clinic, you'll have access to fully furnished, well-lit, and quiet counselling rooms that can seat at least 3 people, with the largest room accommodating up to 6.
Therapists also have access to kitchen and tea & coffee facilities as well as free wifi.
Environment
Each room is flooded with light by large sash windows and has been designed with warm, relaxing colours and materials to create a calm, inviting atmosphere.
Each room has different lighting options available to create the preferred ambience, as well as conformable chairs to support longer sessions and to allow the client to feel at ease.
Network
Despite private practice often being much more secluded than working in institutions such as the NHS, when joining the clinic you are also accessing a network of professionals who work with us in various capacities. Some have been here for years, and others new.
If this is a large factor in deciding why you want to work from a clinic, we recommend choosing days that are busier to meet others and develop peer supervision opportunities.
Safety
Working within a practice amongst other therapists ensures a secure, safe and discreet environment for you to work from, rather than working at home or in other serviced offices.
A lone working guide and policy are available at the practice due to the nature of the work, but we also provide a system whereby another therapist can 'check in' with a phone call or text if alone.


Pricing
Our pricing structure is designed to grow with you. It's not only kept relative to the work you're doing, but also reduces as your caseload rises. Meaning the more bookings you make, the lower the rate you pay.
